Why we love it: We think caladiums are iconic - beautiful, bright pink, white and green coloured foliage has us regularly asking "how are you even real?!"

Best for: gentle morning or evening sunlight, as these fragile leaves can end up faded or spotted if they receive too much direct sunlight.

Easy to kill rating (1 = invincible, 5 = needs extra TLC) : 4 - a tropical plant requiring rich and moist fertile soil. They are perennial, so tubers can be stored during autumn and winter to be replanted the following spring.
