Why we love it: These famous carnivorous plants attract their prey using a sweet nectar, and once an insect touches their sensitive leaves, they snap shut. 

Best for: full sun 

Easy to kill rating (1 = invincible, 5 = needs extra TLC) : 4- as these plants are truly alive they do require feeding when living indoors, mealworms are an excellent replacement for the flies and other bugs they would naturally catch outdoors.

They also need high humidity, sitting them on saucer with a few inches of water is a good way to ensure this. When watering the soil do not let it dry out but be careful not to flood the top of the traps with water as they do not like this.
